Remote Greenland Itineraries

Trips to Ilulissat + Qeqertarsuaq* + Uummannaq [Summer 2025] from 50,000.- DKK

I developed this itinerary over seven trips to West Greenland in the past seven years. The photos from this website, inspiration videos, and description below should help guide your decision on whether a Greenland adventure is right for you.

My test trip of this exact itinerary was completed in 2023 with a group of four. Additional vetting of operators completed in 2024.

Note: this can be upgraded depending on interests and budget

Trips to Qaanaaq [Winter & Summer 2025-2026] from 67,000.- DKK

Special interest travel at its finest. Please drop me a line if interested in visiting Qaanaaq. The capacity is very limited and we will need to calibrate expectations by exchanging emails and/or a call.

Scouting trip was completed in 2019.

Trips to Ittoqqortoormiit [Winter 2025-2026] from 50,000.- DKK

This is another special interest trip. I will be welcoming groups in cohorts no greater than 5 people from March to April 2025 depending on areas of interest. Please have a look at the inspiration and resources page. The emphasis for Ittoqqortoormiit is generally for those interested in camping on ice, extreme experiences, subsistence lifeways (also known as “life on the edge”) hunting, wildlife - polar bears and narwhals etc. but overland rather than the luxury expedition cruises. More information on our videos and my blog. It’s a destination many people don’t know of and there isn’t much of substance online. The best resources are books like Carsten Egevang’s and other researchers and anthropologists.

As this is low capacity and special interest, please schedule a call with me or message me if you’re interested and want to learn more.

Scouting trip completed in 2022.

Special Interest Expeditions [Upon Request]

  • Heliskiing

  • Crossing the Greenland Ice Sheet

  • Moutain Climbing

  • Expedition training

  • Extreme challenges

Why go with Icebergchick? One word: fixer

While it is true that you can take a look at my images and the itinerary and attempt to recreate it for yourself for slightly less money, you will not be able to replicate the experience. I recently learned about the term “fixer” when a major broadcaster reached out to me about a project in 2025. They needed me because no normal traveler (or producer) can pull together on their own what a “fixer” can do. I have access to people and situations that simply aren’t available to the usual tourists.

My 100% local vendors and I deliver experiences that no typical traveler could ever hope to arrange on their own. If you can dream up something you want to do, we will make it happen provided it’s legal and ethical.

Vendors

I support small business where possible. Please see the vendors section for more information and how to support these businesses.
